BIOGRAPHY

An Interview with Dr. Cindy Marrow

Dr. Cindy Marrow grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and attended Southern Methodist University in Texas graduating in 1995, Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Biology. She went on to attend the well respected George Washington University School of Medicine, where she graduated with her medical degree in 1999.

Dr. Marrow was accepted to her specialty training in Family Medicine though the Medical College at Virginia at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She graduated from residency in 2002 after attaining and serving in the prestigious position as Chief Resident. Dr. Marrow chose to focus her career on adult and adolescent Medicine and accepted a hospitalist position at Mary Washington Hospital in 2002. She served 5 years on the staff and through her leadership and excellent clinical skills, earned the respect of her peer physicians and was elected to the much honored position as Medical Staff President, recently completing a 2 year term.

Dr. Marrow joined CIMA in January 2007 to better care for her patients throughout all aspects of their health. She was made full partner in 2009 and serves an integral part of the success and future growth of CIMA. Dr. Marrow has a special interest in adolescent and women’s health.

Dr. Marrow and her husband, Don live in Stafford and have one child. She is excited to welcome you to the practice.
