BIOGRAPHY

Lauren Brunner was born and raised in Herndon, Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech. Through her involvement with volunteer opportunities, Lauren developed compassion and empathy for others that led to her interest in the PA profession. She worked in a variety of healthcare settings as a certified nursing assistant in hopes of attending PA school. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she attended Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia to receive her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021.

Lauren is a board-certified PA and joined the CIMA team in March 2022. Throughout PA school, she developed a passion for building trusting relationships with her patients and advocating for those facing health disparities. She chose a career in internal medicine due to her interest in all specialties of healthcare, with special focuses on preventative medicine, dermatology, behavioral health, and gastroenterology.

Lauren moved to Glen Allen following her graduation from PA school and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, reading, and with her family and friends. She is seeing patients in the Fredericksburg office and is eager to meet and serve the community.
