BIOGRAPHY

Jasmine Taborn was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon graduating high School in 2013, she enlisted in the United States Army as a Human Resources Specialist. After completing basic training and her Advanced individual training at Fort Jackson, SC she was assigned to the 377th Theater Sustainment Command in New Orleans, LA and completed her prerequisites to apply to the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program. In 2018 she was accepted into the Military Interservice Physician Assistant Program.

Among Jasmine’s many medical interests, she is especially interested Endocrinology and Women`s health. Earlier in Jasmine’s life she was treated and cured of an Endocrine disorder, through this she was able to see on a personal level the importance of getting to know and understand direct patient care and treatment. This was further ingrained in her through her clinical rotations, where she treated not only the civilian population but also military service members, retirees, and their families.

Jasmine lives in Fredericksburg with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs Major and Lieutenant. She continues to serve her country part time as a Physician Assistant in the United States Army Reserves. Her interests include reading, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. Jasmine’s goals for the future are to become proficient in Spanish and to continue improving the lives of others however she can!
